Thousands of people around the world have reported being unable to access several Microsoft services.

Microsoft 365

Users may be unable to access the following services including Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Outlook, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Graph, PowerBi and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
The problem has been isolated to a networking configuration issue, and the best mitigation strategy is being analysed to address it without causing additional impact.

Microsoft Azure

Microsoft have also stated that they are looking into connectivity issues with its cloud computing service, Azure, which is affecting what it called “a subset of users”.

Update

Microsoft 365, current status: It has been identified that a wide-area networking (WAN) routing change caused impact to the service. Microsoft have rolled back the change and are monitoring the service as it recovers. Some of the customers who had previously reported impact are now reporting recovery.

Next Update: 12:00am.

Update

Current Status: Microsoft are monitoring telemetry which continues to show that the service is stable, and the majority of users are able to access the service successfully. They are continuing to monitor the service and are taking actions to confirm full recovery.
