Following Matrix IT’s signing of the Armed Forces Covenant in June, part of its statement of intent to support defence personnel, Matrix has received the Bronze Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
The ERS recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. The scheme comprises Bronze, Silver and Gold awards for employers who support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families.
As a Bronze Award holder, Matrix has undertaken the following commitments:
- Signed the Armed Forces Covenant.
- Pledged their intention to support Defence and to take a positive stance towards reserves, cadet force adult volunteers and veterans who are either existing or prospective employees.
- Promote being Armed Forces friendly and are open to employing reservists and supporting their training and mobilisation commitments, as well as Armed Forces veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), cadet instructors and military spouses/partners.
