– Does your company understand the importance of GDPR? GDPR can cost you a hefty amount in fines along with bad publicity and legal action.
– Do you know where your data is? GDPR covers all current data as well as new data collected after the law comes into effect. You will need to know where all your current data is stored, the type of data being kept and the processes for access, safe storage, backup, and control.
– Do you have a process to delete data if demanded? It can be demanded that a person’s data be deleted. Make sure to have a process for this if you are asked to do so.
