Securing your employees within a business and keeping them safe is important, but you can also improve their trust at the same time by following these simple tips:
- Get the appropriate technology to begin with. Make sure they have firewalls in place, anti-viruses activated, block spam and many more IT basics, this will keep them protected.
- Keep your employees in the know. If there is a new ransomware out, let them know this and how they can prevent this from making a risk. If you’re conducting security checks, let them know this is happening.
- Lay out your company expectations. Employees should be shown an IT policy and a social media policy so they know what they can and can’t do/post. This keeps both your company and its employees safe.
- Get your employees to report anything suspicious. They will then be helping themselves out as well as their other colleagues and the company itself. This will be motivational as they will understand that they are a vital part of the business.
